Feasting, Riding, Snoozing, Repeat

That’s the way the I rolled this weekend, and I hope that it has set the tone for the rest of the summer.

Fillmore Revival, Day One

After a long ride on my Rush, I continued work disassembling my LeMond Fillmore.  Ryan at Spokes, Etc. in Alexandria helped me out with the Bottom Bracket, it was like it was welded in place.  Here is the result, raw Fillmore CroMoly frame, ready for a revival.

First Ride of Summer!

A long one.  On the Fargo out to where the W&OD crosses 66.  Fast.  Really felt the weight of this bike and got a great workout for my legs and lungs.

Ready!

For Memorial Day Weekend that is!  I rode the Rush out to West Falls Church and had a nice stretch.  Remembering what I love for the summer.

Got a chance to get out for a ride on the Rush.  Pushing pretty hard.  Legs were still not 100% from my weight workout on Monday.

Broken In

Just about have the Fargo broken in. A few adjustments here and there, seat, tape, etc…, all coming together. This bike is awesome.

Best Explosions

My son and I went to West Virginia to spend some time with my sister, and family.  These are some of the highlights of some of our shooting activities.

Fargo, Mine!

I have to give a shout out to my bud Chris at Spokes, Etc. in Alexandria for setting me up with some more great bike gear for a trans-Allegheny Mountain trip that I’m going to attempt this summer.  Salsa Fargo!  CoMoly steel framed 29′er with fat tires for rough trails that are also designed to haul ass on the street.  I’m going to go out and play on this tomorrow, more later.
