It looked like someone was filming a TV show near Glen Carlyn Park today. I stopped for a picture. Of course the weather was absolutely beautiful.

I rode out to Herndon for a customer visit in high wind today. The ride out was a bit of a challenge with the headwind. Coming back was a different story. The wind was at my back! It was also cool enough on the ride out to wear light gloves. Me and the Rush.

Barbara Thomas killed two cyclists while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of morphine and barbiturates. Ms. Thomas was found guilty, but will have a hearing with the Colorado Parole Board very soon. If she gets paroled she could be out after serving only 13 months!
Her arrest record: four convictions of shoplifting dating back to 1983, drinking in a vehicle, careless driving and traffic infractions. She had an outstanding summons for a hit-and-run two months before the collision.
Please email Tim Hand, the head of the Colorado Department of Corrections Parole Board to voice your concern at tim.hand@doc.state.co.us.

Today was a planned day of rest, giving me ol’ bones, and chaffed butt a chance to heal up. Funny pic, some purists ride track bikes with this stem configuration, I call it a chest penetrator.

I did some tricks out at the local basketball court, and it started raining. Cut a bit short. Cool pedals, VP Components.

I had a fun ride today on the El Mariachi. I put the seat down some, and changed the pedals to MTB so I could ride with my sneakers. It was a blast …!
