Feeling better today, and did the first of my “trick only” rides.  I rode my bike over to a practice basketball court, and with a fresh set of legs practiced my track stands, wheelies, and attempted backward riding.  Trick riding.  Yeaboy.

Weird.  I was up at 2am.  Coughing, and upset stomach.  Felt weird all day.  No cycling.  A day of rest will do me good.  Hell I’m over 5k anyhow, yeaboy.

Windy today! I did a short practice ride today. Lots of tricks, intense. Thinkin’ about next year’s riding already, especially the summer. Still one of my favorite pictures of da Rush …

Went over 5000 miles for the year, beyotch.  And that’s all I have to say about that.

I was going to cross the finish line today for 5k for the year, but the trail was just impassable.  Tomorrow is another day, and my goal will be accomplished tomorrow.  I had a great time anyway riding through the fog.

Had a very Merry Christmas with family, got in a ride, and that’s all I have to say about that!

Still snow riding!  The El Mariachi has really put out for me over the past few days. I can actually start to see some dry, fixie rydable roads, so maybe I’ll be able to get out over break.

This funny picture reminds me of what happens when human beings make plans.  Knock down snow ledge with football, football stuck in snow.  Reminds me of favorite military saying, “plans go out the window when contact is made with the enemy.”

Still no clearing of snow from the bike trails.  No real melting.  Still on the El Mariachi, missing riding my fixies.  Maybe in a few days …

The El Mariachi has been my go to bike during this snow storm. I took it out for another great ride today. The days are now getting longer, and I’m already looking forward to the summer…  I saw some posts on other sites of chicks riding fixies.  Awesome.  I’ve only seen one chick on a fixie in real life, but I’m in DC …
